Newlywed Bollywood star Sonakshi Sinha has received a luxurious BMW i7 from her husband, Zaheer Iqbal. The couple, who tied the knot on June 23, registered their marriage under the Special Marriage Act on the same day.
The newlyweds hosted a grand reception at the upscale Bastion in Mumbai after their private wedding ceremony. The event saw attendance from family, friends, relatives, and notable Bollywood celebrities.
The couple arrived at the reception in a white BMW i7, and later, Indian media reported that Zaheer gifted the electric car to Sonakshi.
The car, valued at approximately 20 million INR, has also garnered immense attention on social media. Zaheer Iqbal’s significant gift has finally brought solace to Sonakshi’s fans, who were disturbed by the criticism she faced.
Sonakshi, who has been confronting relentless trolls and criticism for her interfaith marriage, responded by advocating a heart-touching perception posted by some caricature artists: “Love is the universal religion.”
