ZEE5 has released the trailer for the upcoming film Kakuda on YouTube and social media, with the film set to premiere on July 12.
In the trailer, the story unfolds as Indira, played by Sonakshi Sinha, teams up with a ghost hunter to save her husband, Sunny, from a deadly curse by the ghost Kakuda. The makers captioned the trailer: “When her husband Sunny gets cursed by the terrifying ghost, Kakuda, Indira joins hands with a ghost hunter to find a solution. Can she save her husband before the curse claims his life? Premieres 12th July 2024.”
Story
The film is set in the village of Ratodi, which is trapped in time by a curse. Three characters confront the ghost, leading them to question superstition, tradition, and love. Every house in the village has two doors, and one must be opened for Kakuda every Tuesday at 7:15 pm.
Cast
Sonakshi Sinha stars as Indira, who isn’t afraid of ghosts. Her character might face personal wrath from Kakuda. Riteish Deshmukh plays Angrezi Tantrik, the Ghost Hunter, who is fearless against Kakuda. Saqib Saleem portrays Sunny as a loving and funny man, except on Tuesdays. Aasif Khan plays Kilvish, Sunny’s good friend, whose friendship will be tested as they face Kakuda.Kakuda promises a thrilling mix of horror and drama, with a unique storyline and a strong cast.
