Viral drone video reveals immoral activities on University of Okara

A viral drone video on social media has sparked controversy by allegedly showing male and female students engaging in sexual activities on the rooftop of Okara University.

The university administration quickly responded by filing a First Information Report (FIR) against a male student and a female drone operator, accusing them of damaging the university’s reputation. The video reportedly shows several students involved in immoral acts on the rooftop.

The FIR names Ali Raza, a BS Zoology student, drone operators Ali Shan and Somiyah, and unidentified others. They are accused of trespassing on university premises without permission and using a drone camera to record & share the footage on social media.

Deputy Registrar Waqar Ahmad, who filed the FIR, expressed concern that the incident has tarnished the university’s image and caused anxiety among students and the broader community. The FIR calls for the arrest of the accused to restore the institution’s dignity.

In response, the university suspended its public relations officer and security officer and terminated two daily wage employees.

The Deputy Registrar confirmed that initial investigations have begun under the oversight of the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), involving interviews with university officials and staff.
It remains to be seen if the video footage is authentic or if the activities depicted occurred on the university rooftop.
