Indus Motor Company (IMC) has gifted Arshad Nadeem a Toyota Fortuner GR-S to celebrate his Olympic gold medal in javelin throw. Initially, the company planned to give him a Corolla Cross but later upgraded the gift. IMC expressed its pride in supporting Arshad Nadeem since 2023 and recognized his hard work and dedication in reaching the pinnacle of success.
In a social media post, IMC shared, “To honor Arshad Nadeem’s remarkable victory, we presented him with our top-tier Toyota Fortuner GR-S during a ceremony at our Karachi manufacturing facility. We’re proud to be part of his journey and excited for what’s to come.”
IMC’s top management, including CEO Ali Asghar Jamali, attended the event. Jamali shared his happiness: “Arshad’s success reflects his relentless effort, and we’re proud to back athletes like him who bring pride to our nation.”
Other Gifts to Arshad Nadeem
Earlier, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz gifted Arshad Nadeem a Honda Civic with the number plate PAK 9297 to celebrate his record-breaking throw of 92.97 meters. The car was given during her visit to his home. Arshad Nadeem also received a Corolla Cross from the Punjab governor and a Suzuki Alto from a businessman.
Arshad Nadeem’s Olympic gold medal is Pakistan’s first in 32 years and the first by an individual athlete in 40 years. His achievement is especially significant as his main competitor was Indian athlete Neeraj Chopra, who won the silver medal in the event.
