Pakistani TikTok star Imsha Rehman has deactivated her social media accounts after her private videos were leaked online.
Imsha became the latest victim of a data breach, with her personal videos spreading across platforms like WhatsApp, X (formerly Twitter), and Instagram without her consent. The videos, which reportedly showed her in a private moment with a friend, quickly went viral and sparked major backlash.
In response to the public pressure, Rehman disabled her accounts and shared a brief statement. She acknowledged the emotional impact of the situation, saying, “The backlash has been overwhelming,” and emphasized the challenges of managing a public profile amid such controversy.
This incident is the second recent case of a Pakistani influencer’s private videos being leaked, following a similar incident involving TikTok star Minahil Malik.
The situation has raised concerns about cyberbullying and data privacy. While some called for more empathy and respect in dealing with such issues, others criticized those who continued to share and mock the content online.
