The welcome committee featured Minister for Planning and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal, Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Chairman Rana Mashhood, and former Railway Minister Saad Rafique.

In addition, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz presented Arshad Nadeem with a cheque for Rs100 million. The Sindh government announced a prize of Rs50 million, and Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori pledged Rs1 million.

The Punjab government is also starting civic projects in Mian Channu, Arshad Nadeem’s hometown, including new electric transmission lines and road construction.
