The investigation into the death of US actor Matthew Perry has indicated disturbing findings, including multiple arrests and serious allegations against medical professionals. Perry, famous for his role as Chandler Bing on Friends, was discovered dead at his Los Angeles home on October 28, 2023, due to an acute ketamine overdose.
US authorities have arrested five individuals connected to the case, including two doctors. Among them is Dr. Salvador Plasencia, who faces charges of distributing ketamine and falsifying records related to Perry’s death. Text messages from Plasencia showed a shocking disregard for Perry’s safety, with one message stating, “I wonder how much this moron will pay for this.”
Perry’s assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, has been accused of giving Perry multiple doses of ketamine on the night of his death. Additionally, Jasveen Sangha, nicknamed the “Ketamine Queen,” has been charged with supplying the drug that led to Perry’s death.
The investigation, involving the DEA, U.S. Postal Service, and LAPD, also uncovered ties to a more extensive criminal network involved in illegal ketamine distribution. These revelations raise serious concerns about medical ethics, drug regulation, and the exploitation of those struggling with addiction.
