JHELUM: Arbaz Butt and Taimoor Butt, known as the Butt Brothers on TikTok, were arrested for fraud in Jhelum.
The City Police Station in Jhelum registered a First Information Report (FIR) under Section 379/420 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
The local court placed the Butt Brothers on a four-day physical remand.
The complaint, filed by Syed Ibrar Shah, alleged that Shandar Mobiles sold him a defective phone and later stole it when he sought a refund. Shah stated he bought a phone worth 300,000 from Shandar Mobiles, but discovered it was defective when he got home. When he returned to the shop with the phone and receipt, the Butt Brothers tricked him and took both the phone and receipt.
