Saudi Arabia has great news for Pakistani IT professionals. The Kingdom announced new job opportunities in the tech sector during a recent meeting between Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
The Crown Prince highlighted Saudi Arabia’s need for skilled Pakistani IT workers, stating that the Kingdom requires “hundreds of thousands” of professionals in this area, with demand likely to increase in the coming years. This push aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 plan, which aims to diversify its economy and expand its technology sector.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif addressed his cabinet in Islamabad and shared details of his discussion with the Crown Prince, noting that these jobs present great potential for Pakistan’s tech workforce. Further information about these opportunities is expected soon.
Additionally, PM Sharif mentioned Qatar’s plans to develop an IT Park in Pakistan to support tech-focused education and training and prepare more professionals for global careers.
