Former Indian actress Sana Khan, who left Bollywood for her faith, has shared the news of her second pregnancy with husband Mufti Anas Syed.
Sana revealed the happy news on Instagram on Friday, posting a heartfelt video accompanied by Quranic recitation. She wrote, “Alhamdulillah, our family of three is about to become four. We eagerly await this happiness.”
From Bollywood to a Spiritual Journey
Sana quit the entertainment industry in 2020 to embrace spirituality and married Mufti Anas Syed in 2021. The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Syed Tariq Jamil, last year.
Sana once shared that Mufti Anas’s proposal came through a voice note from renowned Islamic scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil, which pleasantly surprised her.
Reflecting on Life’s Purpose
In a note announcing her decision to leave Bollywood, Sana expressed her journey towards faith. She wrote, “For years, I enjoyed fame, honor, and wealth, but I began questioning if life’s true purpose was only to chase these things.”
Sana and Mufti Anas continue to embrace their faith-filled journey together, now preparing to welcome their second child.
