The blockbuster Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, and Triptii Dimri, remains a favorite even in 2024. The movie has earned an impressive 11 nominations in 9 categories for the upcoming IIFA Awards 2024.
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Animal has been nominated for the following awards: Sandeep Reddy Vanga for Best Director, Ranbir Kapoor for Best Actor (Male), Triptii Dimri for Best Supporting Actress, Anil Kapoor for Best Supporting Actor, Bobby Deol for Best Negative Role, Arijit Singh for Best Male Playback Singer for “Satranga,” Bhupinder Babbal for Best Male Playback Singer for “Arjan Valley,” Vishal Mishra for Best Male Playback Singer for “Pehle Bhi Main,” and Shreya Ghoshal for Best Female Playback Singer for “Kashmir.”
Additionally, Animal was nominated for Best Picture, and Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, and Sandeep Reddy Vanga were recognized as producers. The film’s music team, including Pritam, Vishal Mishra, Mannan Bhardwaj, Shreyas Puranik, Jaani, Bhupinder Babbal, Aashim Kemson, and Harshvardhan Rameshwar, is also nominated for Best Music Direction.
Released on December 1, 2023, Animal received rave reviews and grossed around Rs 1000 crores at the box office. T-Series, Cine1 Studios, and Bhadrakali Pictures produced the film.
