Google Labs, in collaboration with Google DeepMind, has unveiled Pomelli — a new AI-driven marketing platform designed to help small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) simplify their digital advertising.
Pomelli allows business owners to create professional social media campaigns and brand materials without needing design or marketing expertise. Users can simply upload their business website, and Pomelli automatically builds a unique “Business DNA” — analyzing brand tone, visuals, fonts, and color schemes to understand the company’s identity.
Once the profile is ready, Pomelli generates tailored marketing content, including taglines, ad ideas, logos, and brand messages. Businesses can also input their own campaign ideas as prompts, allowing Pomelli to refine them using Google’s AI creativity engine.
The platform then creates editable marketing assets for websites, ads, and social media — giving users full control over visuals, fonts, colors, and call-to-action styles.
Currently, Pomelli is available as a public beta in the US, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand, and only supports English.
This move positions Google among the growing number of tech giants investing in AI-driven advertising. Competitors like Amazon’s AI ad generator and Adobe’s AI Foundry are also reshaping how brands produce content, manage design, and personalize marketing strategies.
For small businesses, Pomelli could be a game-changer — offering fast, intelligent, and affordable marketing powered by AI.
