    PML-N Leader Siddique-ul-Farooq Passes Away

    Siddique-ul-Farooq, a senior leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), passed away after battling a prolonged illness, including kidney complications. His family confirmed the news on Sunday.

    Farooq, who served as the Chairman of the Evacuee Trust Property Board during Nawaz Sharif’s tenure as Prime Minister, was a key figure in Pakistani politics. His funeral prayers will be held on Monday.

    Recently, Senator Irfan Siddiqui, the PML-N parliamentary leader in the Senate, visited Farooq at his home. During the visit, Senator Siddiqui conveyed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s concerns about Farooq’s health and assured him of support for medical treatment. He also presented flowers on behalf of the Prime Minister.

    Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed deep sorrow over Siddique-ul-Farooq’s passing, stating, “The party has lost a sincere and wise politician. His contributions to the PML-N will always be remembered.” He also extended heartfelt condolences to Farooq’s family.

    Senator Irfan Siddiqui praised Farooq’s resilience and loyalty, noting his courage during tough times. “He stood firm against dictatorship and never turned against Nawaz Sharif, even in the most challenging situations,” Siddiqui said.

    Siddique-ul-Farooq’s contributions to journalism, literature, and politics have left a lasting legacy cherished by his party and colleagues.
