Payoneer, a popular online money transfer service, has raised its transaction fees for users in Pakistan. This change could impact freelancers who rely on the platform for payments.
The new fee is 3% of the total transaction, plus an additional $0.49 for all USD payments, up from the previous 2%. For other currencies, the fixed fees are 0.39 GBP, 0.45 EUR, 0.75 AUD, 0.67 CAD, and 73.76 JPY.
These increased fees apply to debit or credit card payments and transactions made using the “Request a Payment” or “Initiate an Online Payment” features with a card.
The new fee structure will start on October 20, 2024. After this date, users can view the updated fees in the Fee section of their account settings.
Other Payoneer fees in Pakistan will remain the same.
