Pakistani security forces have killed 94 Khwarij militants sent by the Afghan Taliban in a series of intelligence-based operations (IBOs) over the past four days, reaffirming their commitment to eliminating terrorism from the country.
North Waziristan Operation
The latest operation occurred on October 16, 2025, in the Tang Kalli and Datta Khel areas of North Waziristan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, following intelligence reports of terrorist activity.
Security forces launched a targeted operation and, after intense fighting, six terrorists were killed and three injured.
Among the dead was Mahboob, the commander of Fitna al-Khwarij, a group linked to regional terror networks.
Counter-Terror Campaign
These actions are part of Pakistan’s intensified campaign under the National Action Plan (NAP) to combat terrorism and maintain national stability. In the last four days alone, 94 militants have been neutralized in multiple regions bordering Afghanistan.

The Pakistan military emphasized its continued resolve to eradicate terrorism and safeguard peace, stressing that the unity between the armed forces and the public remains crucial to defeating extremist threats.
