The UAE will celebrate Pakistan’s Independence Day in Dubai on August
The event, expected to attract over 10,000 attendees, will appear at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Organized by Emirates Loves Pakistan, Pakistan Association Dubai, Dubai Police, and Dubai World Trade Centre, the celebration will feature cultural performances showcasing Pakistan’s heritage.
Prominent attendees will include Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the UAE’s Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, and Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, the Ambassador of Pakistan to the UAE.
Performers like Sindhi folk singer Fida Hussain, Hadia Hashmi, and Pashto folk artist Gulzar Alam will entertain the audience.
The UAE and Pakistan share a strong bond, with nearly 1.7 million Pakistanis living in the UAE, making them the second-largest expat community after Indians. Last year, over 230,000 Pakistanis migrated to the UAE, highlighting the country’s appeal as a key destination for those seeking better opportunities.
The event will also highlight strategic IT, renewable energy, and tourism investments between the two countries.
