Islamabad: The Karachi Karsaz Road accident remains a hot topic on social media as Natasha Danish, the main accused, continues to trend on X and other platforms. Despite her judicial remand, various posts are circulating online, falsely showing the famous businessman’s wife as victorious.
Natasha Danish, who was behind the wheel of a speeding SUV involved in the fatal crash, is still in custody. However, a misleading photo of her, which turned out to be AI-generated, has been widely shared. The image shows her posing outside the court with a victory sign, leading many to believe she had used her influence to secure her release.
Contrary to these claims, there has been no such development. The wife of Gul Ahmed Energy’s owner remains in custody following the tragic Karsaz Road accident that claimed the lives of 60-year-old Imran Arif and his 22-year-old daughter Amna and left three others injured.
Several veteran journalists, including Hamid Mir and Asma Shirazi, shared the misleading photo without verifying its authenticity. While Hamid Mir later deleted the post without explanation, Asma Shirazi apologized for her mistake.
In a recent update on the incident, Abdul Salam, another victim of the Karsaz Road accident, is in critical condition at a Karachi hospital. His family has expressed frustration over the lack of government support and inadequate care during his initial treatment at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC).
The fatal accident occurred on August 19 when Natasha Danish’s luxury SUV collided with several vehicles, killing 26-year-old Amna Arif and her father, Imran Arif. Natasha now faces charges of attempted murder, reckless driving, and careless driving. Her legal team is defending her by citing mental health issues.
