ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced a special facility for overseas Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia. In its latest press release, NADRA confirmed that a mobile registration team will be available in Dammam on September 26 and 27, which fall on Friday and Saturday. The team will operate at Tamimi New Camp and Zohran Eastern Province from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm local time, offering a wide range of registration services.
Overseas Pakistanis in Saudi Arabia will be able to apply for a new Smart NICOP, request a re-print of their Smart NICOP, clear DUP cases, convert their existing NICOP into Smart NICOP, cancel a NICOP, or obtain a Family Registration Certificate (FRC). NADRA has taken this initiative to provide convenience to Pakistanis abroad who may face difficulty in visiting offices physically.
The authority has also made payment options simpler and more accessible for applicants. Citizens can now deposit their application fees directly in cash at NADRA offices. In addition, payments can be made through JazzCash, Easypaisa, and E-Sahulat outlets, giving applicants multiple choices for ease of access. NADRA has also launched a digital payment system using QR codes. When submitting an application, citizens can obtain a QR code from NADRA staff, scan it through their mobile banking application, and instantly pay their fee online without any extra charges.
These measures highlight NADRA’s continued commitment to making registration services more convenient and efficient for overseas Pakistanis, ensuring that they can manage their identity documents without unnecessary hassle.
