Religious figure Mufti Abdul Qavi has stated that the leaked video of TikTok star Minahil Malik is genuine, contrary to Malik’s claims that it is AI-generated. Qavi, who gained public attention in 2016 in the case of social media activist Qandeel Baloch, explained that he knows Malik and the man in the video.
In a statement on social media, Qavi advised Minahil to address the issue directly, stating, “The video is not morphed or fake; she should admit her mistake.” Malik, however, issued a public statement asking fans to report the video, asserting it is AI-generated and addressing the toll on her mental health.
