Modi’s Plane Crosses Pakistani Airspace During Poland to Delhi Flight

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s plane flew through Pakistan’s airspace on its way from Poland to Delhi, according to ARY News and civil aviation sources.

The plane entered Pakistani airspace at 10:15 AM and stayed there for 46 minutes. It crossed into Pakistan over Chitral, flew through air control areas of Islamabad and Lahore, and left Pakistani airspace via Amritsar at 11:01 AM.

Modi was traveling to Kyiv from Warsaw, where he visited Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. In March 2019, Pakistan reopened its airspace for civilian flights after a previous closure due to a military standoff with India. This standoff followed an attack in India’s Jammu and Kashmir, leading to a suspension of trade and downgrading diplomatic ties with India.
