Maulana Fazlur Rehman Re-Elected JUI Chief Unopposed

Maulana Fazlur Rehman has been re-elected unopposed as the leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) for the next five years during the party’s elections.

Similarly, Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri was chosen unopposed as the Secretary-General for the same term.

Both leaders faced no opposition in their election bids.

Just a few days earlier, Maulana Ataur Rehman, Fazlur Rehman’s brother, was also elected unopposed as JUI’s provincial leader (Ameer) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for five years.

Earlier, the Election Commission directed JUI to hold internal party elections and submit the necessary details.
