Latest: Gold Prices Reach Record Highs in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan have hit a record high. On Friday, 24-karat gold was sold for Rs265,900 per tola, a rise of Rs2,900.

The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reported that the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs2,486 to Rs 227,966.

This price surge came after a drop in the previous session, driven by increased global gold rates.

Silver prices also increased, with an Rs50 rise per tola, making it Rs2,950.
In August, gold per tola in Pakistan peaked at Rs263,700; on September 11, it reached a new high of Rs264,000.
