Kia Motors has teased the upcoming launch of its first electric vehicle (EV) in Pakistan, set to debut at the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) 2024 on October 25.
The teaser, with the tagline “Stay tuned to Electrify your future,” suggests Kia is preparing to enter the Pakistani EV market. However, the company hasn’t revealed which model it will launch.
Industry experts believe it could be the Kia EV5, but Kia hasn’t confirmed this yet. Excitement is growing as automakers prepare to showcase their latest innovations at PAPS 2024. Kia’s EV launch is expected to make a significant impact as part of the global trend toward greener transportation.
Pakistan’s EV market is already picking up speed. BYD, one of the largest EV producers, has entered the market, and Changan has launched its EV brand Deepal. Eco-Green Motors and Regal Automobiles have also received licenses to assemble the Honri Ve and Seres3 locally, pushing the EV momentum forward in the country.
