In London, Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif was heckled and faced a “knife attack” threat from an unidentified person, as seen in a viral video.
Sources close to Asif and the PML-N confirmed to Geo News that the video, showing him being threatened and mistreated, is authentic. The incident reportedly took place a few days ago.
This isn’t the first time a Pakistani politician has faced harassment in London. Recently, former Chief Justice of Pakistan, Qazi Faez Isa, encountered a similar situation. PTI supporters attacked Isa’s vehicle at London’s Middle Temple last month when he arrived for an event held by The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple, celebrating his elevation to Callee after he stepped down as the top judge.
