Karachi police arrested a man for allegedly engaging in immoral acts with a deceased woman’s body in her grave.
The arrest occurred at Bagh-e-Korangi graveyard in the Korangi area. Reports say the man had dug up the woman’s grave and committed these acts with her body. Residents caught him in the act as he was covering the grave afterward.
The man, identified as Salman Waheed, was first beaten by residents before being handed over to the Awami Colony police station. The woman had been buried about 10 to 12 days earlier. The police are investigating the case further.
Crime reporter Tahir Abbas told a TV channel that Waheed had previous arrests for similar offenses. Abbas noted that Karachi has seen many severe crimes, but this incident has deeply shocked the public and the police. He mentioned that Waheed had been watching disturbing videos online, which may have influenced his actions. Abbas also revealed that Waheed had been committing these acts with the deceased woman for the past 10 to 12 days.
