A tragic accident on Karsaz Road, Karachi, claimed the lives of three people after an SUV driven by the wife of a local businessman struck bikers and pedestrians on Monday.
The incident occurred when Natasha, the driver, lost control of her speeding vehicle. The SUV collided with a motorcycle, another car, and several pedestrians. Two people died on the spot, while a third victim passed away later in the hospital.
Eyewitnesses reported that Natasha appeared to be under the influence at the time of the crash. She attempted to flee the scene but was stopped by bystanders, who recorded and shared the incident online, sparking widespread outrage.
Rescue teams quickly arrived at the scene, confirming the deaths of two people and transporting four others with severe injuries to a nearby hospital for urgent treatment.
Police and Rangers intervened to rescue Natasha from an angry crowd. She was later arrested, and a case has been filed. Natasha is identified as the wife of Danish Iqbal, a well-known Karachi businessman.
