Canadian singer Justin Bieber has arrived in Mumbai to perform at the lavish pre-wedding celebration of Anant Ambani, the son of Asia’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani, and his fiancée, Radhika Merchant.
Reports reveal that Justin Bieber will earn $10 million (Rs 83 crore) for his performance at the ‘Celebration of Hearts’ sangeet ceremony. This fee is much higher than his usual private performance rates, typically ranging from $2.5 million to $6 million (Rs 20 crore to Rs 50 crore).
Rihanna previously charged between $8 million and $9 million (Rs 66 crore to Rs 74 crore) for her appearance at pre-wedding celebrations, highlighting the high demand for top-tier musical talents at exclusive events.
Bieber’s fee covers his performance, travel, accommodation, production expenses (including sound systems and lighting), and any exclusivity clauses associated with the event. These factors contribute to the substantial amount demanded by the Canadian superstar for this engagement.
The Ambani wedding will take place in Mumbai on July 12.
