Islamabad police arrested Raoof Hassan, the PTI information secretary, and denied detaining party chairman Barrister Gohar Ali.
According to the police, they raided the PTI central office based on information from an international social media activist of the party.
The police explained that the PTI Secretariat’s social media cell used computers to spread disinformation and false propaganda. During the raid, they seized computers and records.
They also stated that the social media cell incited people against the state.
During the raid, police arrested Raoof Hassan and others working in the social media cell.
