Indian Army Confirms Pakistan Targeted 26 Sites in Operation Bunyan al Marsoos

The Indian Army has confirmed that Pakistan targeted 26 sites in India as part of its military operation, “Bunyan-al-Marsoos.”

Pakistan launched this operation in response to India’s missile strikes on Pakistani airbases. The Pakistani military targeted multiple Indian military sites, including a BrahMos missile storage facility, brigade headquarters, and supply depots, mainly in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab, which were destroyed.

In a joint media briefing with the Indian government, the Indian Army confirmed the attack on 26 sites. The briefing was led by Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, Colonel Sofiya Qureshi of the Army, and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh of the Indian Air Force.

They stated that Pakistan attacked Indian airbases in Udhampur, Pathankot, and Bhatinda, among others. Misri described Pakistan’s actions as provocation, and India responded in a measured way.

The Pakistani army used drones and high-caliber weapons for the attacks, targeting 26 Indian cities. The Indian government confirmed that most of the attacks were neutralized. Col. Sofiya Qureshi also reported that Pakistan targeted schools and medical facilities in Srinagar, Avantipura, and Udhampur.
