IHC Rejects Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi’s Pleas in Toshakhana Case

Islamabad—On Wednesday, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) turned down former Prime Minister Imran Khan and former First Lady Bushra Bibi’s pleas, which argued that their arrests in the Toshakhana case were illegal.

Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb and Justice Babar Sattar heard the case. The IHC dismissed their applications, making them invalid, and closed the pleas related to the second Toshakhana reference.

The court accepted the documents submitted by PTI founder Imran Khan as the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) presented the case closure record. Copies of this record were provided to Khan’s legal team. Additionally, the court lifted the previous order that prevented announcing the verdict in the 190 million pound case.
