Google has announced a free one-year subscription to its Gemini AI Pro Plan for students aged 18 and above in Pakistan, aiming to make advanced artificial intelligence tools accessible for learning, research, and creativity.
According to the company, this initiative is part of Google’s mission to empower students with next-generation AI tools that can enhance productivity and unlock creative potential — all at no cost.
With the Gemini AI Pro Plan, eligible students will gain access to Google’s most powerful AI features, including the Gemini 2.5 Pro model, Gemini in Google Apps, and NotebookLM.
The Gemini 2.5 Pro model provides deeper research capabilities to assist with assignments, data analysis, and creative projects. Meanwhile, Gemini in Google Apps integrates AI directly into Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Meet, helping students summarize emails, generate study materials, and create presentations faster.
NotebookLM, Google’s personalized AI research assistant, now includes enhanced tools such as expanded Audio Overviews and improved notebook features — designed to make note-taking and report writing smoother than ever.
Students can also create dynamic videos using Veo 3 in Gemini and Flow, transforming text or photos into engaging visuals. Additionally, the plan offers 2 TB of cloud storage, giving students ample secure space on Google Drive, Gmail, and Photos for all academic files.
The offer is available across several countries in the Asia-Pacific region, including Pakistan. Eligible university students can register to claim free access for up to one year and start exploring Google’s most advanced AI-powered tools.
Google emphasized that this program reinforces its broader commitment to supporting education through technology, ensuring that young learners are equipped with the resources they need to thrive in the AI-driven future.
