Gold prices have decreased in Pakistan.
On Monday, the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs200, trading at Rs214,500 compared to Rs214,700 on the previous trading day.
The All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported that the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also dropped by Rs172, settling at Rs207,047 from Rs207,219. The cost of 10 grams of 22-karat gold decreased to Rs189,793 from Rs189,950.
Silver prices remained stable, with per tola and 10 grams of silver holding at Rs2,850 and Rs2,443.41, respectively.
In the international market, gold prices dipped by $2, decreasing to $2,324 from $2,326.
Earlier in April, gold prices in the local market had reached an all-time high of Rs252,200 per tola. The fluctuations in gold prices are primarily influenced by changes in the international market, reflecting global demand and supply dynamics for the precious metal.
