Karachi: The gold price in Pakistan increased by Rs1,100 to reach Rs244,400 per tola in the local market on Friday, July 5.
The rise in gold prices is due to an increase in the international market.
According to the All Pakistan Gem and Jewellers Association (APGJA), the price of gold in the international market rose by $9 to $2,364 per ounce.
Locally, the price of one tola of gold increased by Rs1,100, bringing it to 244,400 rupees per tola (ten grams of gold).
Meanwhile, the price of a tola of silver remained unchanged at Rs2,850.
