The gold price in Pakistan remained stable on Thursday, holding firm at the record highs seen a day earlier, while silver prices surged to a new all-time high.
According to the latest data, the price of 24-karat gold per tola stayed unchanged at Rs425,178, and the price of 10 grams of 24K gold remained Rs364,521. Similarly, 10 grams of 22K gold were recorded at Rs334,156.
In the international market, gold also maintained its record level at $4,039 per ounce, reflecting global price stability amid continued investor interest in precious metals.
However, silver prices followed a different trend, hitting new highs. The rate of 24K silver per tola rose by Rs82, reaching Rs5,066, while 10 grams of silver climbed to Rs4,343.
Gold prices in both local and international markets continue to show strength as investors seek safe-haven assets amid global economic uncertainties.
