    Five PTI Leaders Arrested Outside Adiala Jail Released Shortly After

    Five Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leaders, initially detained outside Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi, were released shortly after their arrest.

    The leaders had gathered outside the jail on Tuesday to meet former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan. Those taken into custody included Omar Ayub Khan, Shibli Faraz, Asad Qaiser, Sahibzada Hamid Raza, and Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly, Malik Ahmad Khan Bhachar. All five leaders were briefly held at the Adiala police station.

    In related news, an anti-terrorism court in Rawalpindi issued an arrest warrant for PTI leader Sheikh Waqas Akram. The Saddar police station in Hasan Abdal registered a case against Waqas under terrorism-related and other charges.
