JUI Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman stated that his party does not support banning any political party and urged the current government to step down.
Speaking to the media in Khanpur, he expressed regret over recent incidents in Islamabad, describing them as unfortunate.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman also highlighted the lack of clarity regarding the 27th constitutional amendment.
He dismissed suggestions of banning any political party or imposing Governor’s rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, stressing that the province currently lacks an effective government.
When asked if Donald Trump could influence the release of PTI’s founder, he firmly stated that such decisions about Pakistan are not Trump’s to make. He emphasized that external interference hampers Pakistan’s ability to manage its own politics.
