Faysal Quraishi announces Rs400,000 reward for Arshad Nadeem

Pakistani actor Faysal Quraishi has announced a reward for javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem and his coach Salman Iqbal Butt. In a post on Instagram, the Meri Zaat Zarrae Benishan star shared the details of his generous offering. He will award Rs400,000 to Arshad Nadeem and Rs200,000 to his coach.

Faysal praised Arshad, calling him the “man who revived the Olympics for Pakistan.” Arshad made the nation proud on August 8 by throwing a spear at a record-breaking distance of 92.97 meters at the Paris Olympics 2024. This historic throw earned Pakistan its first individual gold medal in 40 years at the Summer Games.

Following his remarkable achievement, Arshad has received numerous announcements of cash prizes and rewards from politicians and celebrities. President Asif Ali Zardari has also announced that Arshad will be honored with the Hilal-e-Imtiaz, Pakistan’s second-highest civilian award, in recognition of his outstanding performance at the Paris Olympics 2024.
