Elon Musk Says His Trans Daughter, Vivian, Was “Killed by the Woke-Mind Virus”

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has announced that his estranged transgender daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, was “killed” by what he calls the “woke mind virus.” Musk stated in an interview with conservative commentator Dr. Jordan Peterson that he was “tricked” into signing documents for Vivian’s gender-affirming care during the COVID-19 pandemic.

He described this process as “child mutilation and sterilization” and said it motivated him to fight against the “woke mind virus.”

Musk has criticized the “woke mind virus” before, calling it “one of the greatest threats to modern civilization.” His recent remarks come as he continues to voice conservative political views, especially since his acquisition of Twitter in 2022.

He has used this term previously, including in a 2022 tweet where he blamed the “woke mind virus” for a decline in Netflix viewership, though he did not specify which content he was criticizing.
