    COAS and Saudi Crown Prince Discuss Cooperation on Security and Regional Issues

    Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir met Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammad bin Salman in Saudi Arabia to discuss strengthening bilateral ties, security, and regional issues.

    The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) released a statement about the meeting, confirming that General Asim Munir is on an official visit to Saudi Arabia. During this visit, he engaged in a comprehensive discussion with the Saudi Crown Prince on various matters.

    According to ISPR, the talks covered topics such as regional peace, defense, and security cooperation and ways to enhance relations based on mutual interests.

    The Army Chief appreciated the Crown Prince for his strong support for Pakistan and acknowledged his efforts in promoting peace and stability in the region. General Asim Munir also met separately with Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid Bin Salman.

    ISPR stated that the COAS and Prince Khalid Bin Salman agreed to strengthen defense and security cooperation further further further.

    In addition, the COAS held meetings with H.E. Engineer Talal Abdullah Al-Qtaibi, Assistant Minister of Defense; Air Chief Marshal Fayyadh Bin Hamed Bin Raqeeb Al Ruwaili, Chief of General Staff of the Royal Saudi Armed Forces; and H.E. Lieutenant General Fahad Bin Saud Al-Johani, Chief of the Royal Saudi Land Forces.
