CM Gandapur Hands Out Rs5,000 to PTI Workers

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur gave Rs5,000 to each PTI worker after the party canceled its rally in Islamabad.

Initially, PTI planned a significant rally in Islamabad on August 22, as directed by jailed PTI founder Imran Khan. However, the local administration canceled the rally’s permit due to security concerns, blocking city roads with containers.

When PTI workers arrived in Swabi, the rally was called off. Gandapur and PTI leaders Omar Ayub and Shibli Faraz distributed 5,000 to the gathered supporters.

Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, an adviser to Gandapur, said the cash distribution was a goodwill gesture from the Chief Minister, who personally funded it.
The rally has been rescheduled for September 8 after the Islamabad administration granted a new permit.
