In Faisalabad, a Christian girl named Samreen embraced Islam during a public lecture by Dr. Zakir Naik. Speaking to a large audience, Samreen expressed her desire to convert.
When she took the microphone, Dr Naik asked her name, and she introduced herself as “Samreen.” He then asked if she saw Jesus as a prophet or the son of God, and Samreen replied that she believed Jesus was a prophet.
Dr. Naik continued by asking if she believed Muhammad was the final messenger of Allah, to which she agreed.
He then clarified that her decision to convert was voluntary and free from pressure. Samreen confirmed her choice was entirely her own.
Upon asking about her reason for converting, Samreen shared that her interactions with Muslims had inspired her to join the faith.
After confirming her intentions, Dr. Zakir Naik guided her in reciting the Shahada. The crowd celebrated her conversion with cheers of “Allahu Akbar.”
