Pakistan’s ODI skipper Shaheen Afridi and star batter Babar Azam have dropped in the latest ICC ODI rankings, while teammates Mohammad Rizwan, Salman Ali Agha, and Fakhar Zaman climbed up the chart.
In the updated batting list, Babar Azam slipped to fifth place with 728 points. Meanwhile, Mohammad Rizwan and Fakhar Zaman each rose one spot to 23rd and 26th, respectively.
Middle-order performer Salman Ali Agha made the biggest leap — jumping nine places to 30th after his impressive show against South Africa.
Among other batters, Imam-ul-Haq dropped to 42nd, while Saim Ayub held firm at 53rd with 509 points.
Globally, India’s Rohit Sharma stays No.1, followed by Ibrahim Zadran of Afghanistan. Daryl Mitchell of New Zealand climbed to third, pushing Shubman Gill to fourth.
In bowling, Shaheen Afridi fell to 15th with 587 points, but Naseem Shah surged 10 spots to 33rd. Spinner Abrar Ahmed rose to 37th, while Mohammad Nawaz improved to 69th.
At the top, Rashid Khan remains the world’s best ODI bowler, with Keshav Maharaj second and Jofra Archer climbing to third.
