Popular Pakistani singer Atif Aslam recently addressed rumors about his alleged refusal to perform in Saudi Arabia near holy sites. Responding to claims circulating online, Atif clarified that he never made such statements.
In his official response, Atif stated, “It’s surprising that things are being attributed to me that I never said. The media and art community should verify facts before sharing them.” His statement followed a misleading social media post suggesting he declined to perform near sacred locations. He added, “We’ve performed in Riyadh before, which shows our stance.”
Since 2017, Saudi Arabia has become a popular concert venue, hosting international stars like BTS. Known for hits like Dil Diyan Gallan and Tu Jaane Na, Atif Aslam is celebrated not only in Pakistan but also in Bollywood.
