Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul, the popular actor-cricketer couple, have happily announced they’re expecting their first child in 2025.
They shared this exciting news on Instagram, posting, “Our beautiful blessing is coming soon. 2025,” alongside images of tiny baby feet and a protective evil eye charm. Athiya also included a white heart emoji in her post, which drew warm wishes from friends, family, and colleagues.
Rumors of Athiya’s pregnancy began in April when her father, actor Suniel Shetty, playfully called himself “nana” (grandfather) on a dance reality show. At the time, a source clarified that these rumors were untrue and that Suniel’s comment had been misinterpreted.
Athiya and KL Rahul started dating in 2019 after meeting through a mutual friend. The couple tied the knot in 2023 at Suniel’s farmhouse in Khandala, surrounded by close family and friends.
