Apple to Address Major Concerns of Users in iPhone 16

Apple is set to address a significant concern of iPhone users with its upcoming iPhone 16 series, which will feature groundbreaking advancements in battery accessibility.

Following the World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC), where Apple showcased iOS 18 innovations, the tech giant has captured global attention with this new development.

Reports from Forbes reveal that Apple is developing a pioneering “electrically induced adhesive debonding” technology. This technology aims to make battery replacement easier by using a controlled electrical charge to safely detach the battery, eliminating the need for complex tools or professional help.

This move aligns with Apple’s commitment to sustainability and complies with European Union eco-design legislation from last year. The legislation requires that smartphone batteries be replaceable without tools or easily accessible tools provided with the product or available as spare parts.

Experts predict that this technology could debut in select models of the iPhone 16 series, set for release soon. It is also expected to become a standard feature across Apple’s iPhone 17 lineup, which is planned for 2025.
