Karachi: Residents of Karachi can expect some relief from the heat and humidity as the weather is predicted to remain cloudy on Thursday, with rain expected next week.
The Met Department forecasts that while the sky will be cloudy, the hot and humid conditions will continue today, with temperatures between 35-37°C. Morning humidity levels will be between 70-80%, dropping to 55-65% in the evening.
On Wednesday, Karachi’s temperatures were between 35°C and 36°C, with a humidity level of 58% and an 18-kilometre-per-hour sea breeze. The feels-like temperature soared to 55°C.
Also, Thursdays and thunderstorms are expected in Mithi, Badin, Umarkot, Tharparkar, and Mirpur Khas.
