Security forces successfully eliminated six terrorists belonging to the Fitna-al-Hindustan group during an intelligence-based operation in Dalbandin, Balochistan.
According to security sources, the militants were hiding in a cave under continuous aerial surveillance. The hideout was precisely targeted at the right moment, ensuring the operation’s success.
Officials credited the operation to the strong coordination and timely communication between intelligence agencies and security forces.
In a separate action, security forces also conducted a successful operation against Khawarij militants in the Bajaur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Acting on intelligence reports, troops targeted a cave in the Shahi Tangi forest, where the militants had built tunnels and hideouts.
One Khawarij was killed during a fierce gunfight, while others were injured and fled the area. Weapons, explosives, and communication equipment were recovered, and the tunnel network was cleared.
Pakistan’s security forces reaffirmed their commitment to eliminating terrorism, especially India-backed threats, under the national counter-terrorism drive, Azm-e-Istehkam.
