Pakistan Blocks Passports of 4,000 Jailed in Saudi Arabia

The Pakistani government has blocked the passports of 4,000 Pakistani citizens currently in jail in Saudi Arabia. Reports reveal that Saudi authorities detained these individuals on charges like begging and other crimes. Their passports are blocked for seven years. Most of the arrested citizens are reportedly from Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Pakistani officials are issuing emergency travel documents to assist in their return. The deportation process from Saudi Arabia will begin shortly, and authorities in Pakistan will take legal action against these individuals once they arrive.
