Sources revealed that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has reportedly decided to remove Shan Masood as the captain of the national Test team.

A crucial selection committee meeting is scheduled in Lahore on Friday, where the decision to replace Masood could be finalized.

During the meeting, the committee will also choose the squad for the next match against England and discuss potential candidates to succeed Masood as captain.

Sources suggest that Masood will continue as captain until the end of the England series. Muhammad Rizwan is reportedly a top contender for the role of the next captain.
