The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training (MOFEPT) has announced the routes for the new Pink Bus Service, designed to help female students and teachers in Islamabad. This initiative will use 20 pink buses to provide free transportation within the capital.

The designated routes for the Pink Bus Service are:

• Route 1-A: Nilore to F-11/1 FGCH&E&MS
• Route 1-B: Nilore (Ziarat Stop) to Secretariat
• Route 2-A: Bhara Kahu to F-11/1 FGCH&E&MS (via F-6)
• Route 2-B: Bhara Kahu to F-11/1 FGCH&E&MS (via G-6)
• Route 3-A: Humak to Secretariat
• Route 3-B: Humak to F-11/1 FGCH&E&MS

These 20 buses, easily recognizable by their pink colour, will serve both rural and urban areas of Islamabad. The new bus service will provide female students and teachers with a reliable and accessible transportation option to and from their educational institutions.

This initiative, a collaboration between MOFEPT and the district administration, aims to address transportation challenges, particularly for women, by offering safe and convenient access to educational facilities.
